Asturian Trail Tours : About Us



	All Asturian Trail Tours start with riding from the town of Nava in Asturias. The tour leader spends part of each year in a renovated farmhouse sitting underneath the mountains that provide the first section of trail riding.

	Tour leader Matthew is the tour leader. Matthew's overland motorcycle tour and trail riding experience ranges from North Africa and India to South America. In 2006 he completed a solo motorcycle crossing of Mongolia and the Gobi desert to the north Chinese border. He also competes in trials and enduros. His personal aim is to make sure that you enjoy your trail riding in Asturias, by riding on terrain which you feel comfortable on and which is within your capabilities and experience.

	Routes The routes have been researched and carefully chosen by the tour leader. For large capacity dual purpose bikes the routes are carefully chosen to provide easy and straightforward riding on mainly gravel tracks. More technical trail riding is available for more experienced riders and those with smaller capacity trail/enduro bikes. The routes chosen will vary on a daily basis dependent on ability and weather conditions. What we commit to: Riding and safety We want you to enjoy the trails on your bike. The routes chosen by Matthew will meet your abilities and preferences. This is not enduro racing or high speed training for the Paris Dakar. Culture Asturias is full of heritage and culture, from the grand Palacios to hill top villages. We aim for your tour to leave you with a lasting and happy memory of this region.
